As Lili von Shtupp said - "I'm tired.."
First day in Berlin is in the books. I walked for over 6 hours and saw many (most) of the key sites that I've been to many times before.
Things have REALLY changed. Of course, that's inevitable, but I do miss how some things were before.
The major sites such as the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag have undergone some major changes and they've certainly set things up to attract more tourists. I didn't go in the Reichstag because the last time I was there with my daughter was perfect and I got some good shots that I've printed and have hanging on the wall. Don't want to spoil that memory at all.
Anyway, god a lot of good shots and really enjoyed the day. Gotta get some rest because - hit it Lili - "we're tired.......".
