Fortunately the Moon Hotel is about 10-15 minute walk to a Metro Station (the MRT) making it easy to get around. On Friday Cheng-Chien and I went to the top of the 101 Building. The 101 was the tallest building in the world when it was opened in the late 1990's. It's a beautiful emerald/jade colored building that is suppose to represent a bamboo stalk.
On Saturday we went to the National Palace Museum. An incredible place with fascinating antiquities where some go back thousands of years! Just incredible to see their art and culture.
Next Blog will reflect my solo adventures in Taipei as Cheng-Chien took the HSR (High Speed Rail) back home to Tainan.
Until next time, be safe, be kind and peace out people.
