I traveled from munich on Tuesday (12/10), by train of course, to rothenburg ob der tauber..

Similar to my last visit, my 2nd time in Rothenburg ob Der Tauber.is in December with the Christmas Market in full swing and the stores all decked out in Christmas decorations.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a magical, serene place. The city started as a medieval village and has been preserved as such in a truly remarkable way. There is a wall that encompasses the entire town with multiple observation and torture (you'll have to read the history of the place) towers. You can walk the entire wall, as it was once done so many, many years ago.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a simple place. No supermarkets or big stores. There are only cable-stone streets and roads. When I'm here I don't think about all the %$(@ happening at home and around the world. I only think about, and feel, people (actually from many countries) celebrating the good things cf Christmas.

Even saw Santa at the Christmas Market with a kind of organ grinder music box (complete with Santa's helper monkeys) playing Christmas songs such as Oh Holy Night which is my favorite. In that moment I thought only of the story of Christmas, at least what it's suppose to mean, and what being a Christian should mean - peace on Earth and good will to ALL men.

I invite yo to watch, listen and experience this version of "Oh Holy Night"

Until next time, be safe, be kind and peace out people.
