it's like deja vu all over again - two blogs in one day! this blog will be different in that i'll add a caption to provide some context and perhaps explain why i took the photo - enjoy! Last day in amsterdam as i head to frankfurt by train in the morning.

Until next time, be safe, be kind and now you know "the rest of the story."

Amsterdam Central train station. As in most major European cities, the train station is a major hub of activity. This shot shows some of the persistent fog that's hung over the city during the day since I've been here. Certainly makes taking good photos more difficult.

Amsterdam Central at night. The fog finally lifted Friday night so I went out and got a few shots - it was a mad house.

Basilica of St. Nicholas on Friday night. St. Nicholas is across the canal from the Amsterdm Central train station.

A. statue of a woman sitting at the end of a bench. I didn't read the plague because she certainly looks like Robin Williams to me and I didn't want to spoil that illusion.

Houses lining a wide canal where the tour boats dock. Unfortunately, there was a lot of fog/mist this day.

Bikes are everywhere and you have to look out for bike traffic more than car traffic! Not sure why he's such a sourpuss - must be the yucky weather.

Bikes, bikes, and more bikes line the canals.

Anne Frank's house facing a canal.

If you're a good photographer you'll spot all sorts of interesting things that most people never see. Can you spot what's wrong with one of these houses?

Even some of the long house boats have a yard.
